Masataka Taketsuru, one of the fathers of Japanese whisky and founder of Nikka, held the original Coffey still developed by Aeneas Coffey in high regard due to its exceptional ability to retain the flavors of the whisky’s ingredients.

This whisky is made from 100% malted barley and distilled in one of such stills, producing a rich & robust texture with flavors of spice, oak, and citrus peel.

Rich aroma, smooth and lightly smoky profile with a beautiful lingering finish that lets the drinker enjoy all the subtly notes that reveal themselves and simply beg for another sip.
