Amami Shochu 奄美黒糖焼酎

Shochu distilled from Brown Sugar, or Kokuto, and produced only in the Amami Islands. The taste may remind you of rum, which uses the same ingredients. 
Though distilled from solid brown sugar, it does not have a sweet taste, rather it is characterized by a soft, deep, sweet aroma and a crisp, clean taste.
