With over 400 years of sake brewing under their belt, Kagatsuru Brewery has begun using their premium sake to produce high-quality umeshu.

Starting with a sake base made from Gohyakumangoku rice milled down to 60%, locally farmed plums from Ishikawa are then added to balance out the rice’s umami with a crisp and refreshing tartness.
