Hanatomoe Jundaidai Daiginjo
Imakoko Mugi: For generations, traditional mugi (barley) shochu has been celebrated for its deep, roasty, and distinctly earthy profile. Imamoko boldly departs from this conventional path, trading heavy earthiness for a strikingly modern, delicately floral and fruit-forward character. It offers a beautifully clean bouquet and a refreshing palate that completely reimagines what a barley spirit can be. While a vast majority of Japan’s historic shochu distillation takes place on the southern island of Kyushu, Imamoko represents a captivating geographic rarity. It is proudly produced by Kikusui Brewery in the scenic Nagano Prefecture, located on the main island of Honshu. Nestled between the towering Central and Southern Japanese Alps, the distillery benefits from Nagano’s pristine climate, distinct seasons, and exceptionally soft, alpine spring water—lending the spirit an unmatched purity and crystalline structure.
Shichiken Kinunoaji JDG: Named after its silky texture, Kinunoaji (“Flavor of Silk”), with the help from using snowmelt from Mt. Kaikoma, naturally filtered through granite for 27 years resulting a soft and refined character. Smooth and elegantly note across the tongue. Fruity notes of melon and banana with a subtle mochi-like creaminess and delicate lavender florals. Balanced sweetness leads to a clean, refreshing finish that leaves the palate and ready for the next sip.
Awa no Kaori Sudachi Chu: Elegant and delicate aromas of sudachi, (a tart, lime-like citrus) native to Japan, create a bright and refreshing first impression. Distilled from neutral spirits and infused with fresh sudachi juice, this expression is produced by Nisshin Shurui in Tokushima Prefecture and bottled at 20% ABV.
Compared with traditional shochu distilled from barley or sweet potato, awamori offers softer and lighter taste, making it perfect whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails. Ends in clean and refreshing, with lingering citrus notes that gently cleanse the palate without overpowering the flavors of your meal.
MoMoMo Peach Shochu: A juicy, medium-bodied peach shochu that is perfect for ending a meal. It opens with elegant aromas of freshly peeled white peach. A gentle dryness appears through the mid-palate, adding balance and keeping the sweetness fresh. Finish with smooth, clean, and lingering sweetness.
Made with Kumamoto-grown white peach juice and pulp blended with traditional rice shochu, this 7% ABV drink contains no artificial preservatives or colorings. Fresh, vibrant, and easy to enjoy, it captures the taste of biting into a perfectly ripe peach.
