"Season 2" of Kuraichi is finally about to begin!

Thank you for enjoying "Season 1" of Kuraichi! The current Kuraichi store, which has become a beloved place for sake fans to chat and relax for about six and a half years since November 2018, will be closing this Sunday at 5pm.

Kuraichi's "Season 2" will be a bit more compact in size, but will be located right in the middle of Japan Village between the Sunrise Mart / Food Hall and the Courtyard!

Kuraichi was run by Sam and Kenny in "Season 1", but in "Season 2" it will be run by Sam and three new staff members. We will introduce these three people in due course, but each has their own unique background and personality, and they are "special ambassadors" who love sake, shochu, awamori, and other Japanese spirits.

"In Season 2", we will be updating the free in-store tasting events that have been held every Saturday so far. Taking advantage of our location right in the middle of Japan Village, we will further strengthen our collaboration with Sake's Bar, the bar in the Food Hall. We hope you will look forward to Kuraichi tastings at Sake's Bar!

This Saturday, the free in-store tasting that will be the finale of Kuraichi "Season 1" will feature IWA5. IWA5 is another favorite of Sam's, along with Denshu, which we mentioned in our recent email newsletter, and he claims it is "revolutionary sake," "amazingly high quality," and "the best of the best." Currently, Kuraichi sells IWA5 Assemblage 3 and 4, but in collaboration with Kuraichi and IWA5, you will be able to sample IWA5 Assemblage 3, 4, and 5 at the same time for free in an unprecedented, luxurious and special experience.
