Mukyu Tenon, which means a peaceful world without sorrow or pain Buddhism, is a premium status given only to the highest quality batches of sake under the Tenon name by Itakura Brewery.
A Junmai Daiginjo brewed with meticulous dedication: crafted using 100% Sakanishiki—a sake-brewing rice variety cultivated in Oku Izumo, the "Land of the Gods"—and water flowing from sacred mountains; polished to 50%, produced via the traditional Kimoto method, unfiltered and additive-free, and pasteurized only once.
Pure smoothness, a faint and delicate sweetness reminiscent of while peach followed by a refreshing burst of muscat and key limes zest, apple and grape like acidity, a sense of minerality and expansiveness, and a lingering crisp and clean finish of koji aroma and umami.
Best enjoyed chilled or at room temperature; floating a cube of ice in it is also a delightful option. Pure, delicate, and fresh—yet simultaneously complex and robust.
