Collection: Kasutori/Sakekasu 粕取り/酒粕焼酎

Shochu distilled from the sake lees that is left over from sake production.
This kind of shochu is called Kasutori, or even Sake Kasu Shochu, in Japanese.
Rare in the United States, Kasutori shochu generally has a floral, sake-like taste (go figure!) that makes for very pleasant and mild drinking.
