Junmai

This is a sake with a gentle flavor that brings out the sweetness and umami of the rice, known as "female sake."

It is the polar opposite of the acidic, rich, robust flavor of Yamahai Junmai, known as Kikuhime's best "male sake."

It has a gentle aroma reminiscent of nuts and caramel, and is characterized by a slightly sweet, soft mouthfeel and plump, soft umami flavor.

Aged for one to two years. Brewed with medium-hard Hakusan underground well water.
