Mars Iwai Tradition Whisky

The Mars Shinshu Distillery is the highest in Japan, located over 2,600 feet above sea level in the Japanese Alps, a prime location for distilling whisky thanks to its cooler temperatures and abundance of soft granite-filtered & snowmelt-fed aquifers.

Their Tradition label is malt-driven yet consists of bourbon notes from the 25% corn in the mash.

Deep & delicate with caramel and black cherry on the palate with a finish reminiscent of cinnamon and allspice.
