Noguchi Kanagaso
Noguchi Kanagaso
Futushu Muroka Genshu
Mr. Noguchi is a legend among legends who has been making sake since the postwar period and continues to create new sake even now at over 90 years old.
He is the driving force behind the revival of the Yamahai style, and his influence on the current world of sake is immeasurable.
He still works on sake brewing, mainly in the Yamahai style, but this Futushu sake was created so that more people would know about his sake and enjoy it casually with their daily meals.
You may be surprised at the 20% AVB, but it is an over 3-yrs aged savory sake with a very gentle mouthfeel, mild aromas of dried fruit, a well balanced complex flavor, and long-lasting clean taste.
"Kanagaso" (meaning "protected by Kannon Bodhisattva") was named after the land where Mr. Noguchi's sake brewery is located.
