Ohishi 8-Year Sherry Cask

Distilled from a combination of estate-grown and locally sourced malted and unmalted grains.

Seven-day clay pot fermentation period kickstarted with white koji seed, followed by a second fourteen-day fermentation period takes place in stainless steel pot stills.

Caramel flavor notes with a lightly smoke-y character. Clean with a long tail and stronger bite than some other Japanese Whiskys, although still thoroughly enjoyable.

Aged in ex-Sherry casks for eight years.
