Unique in the Awamori category is the aged ones, "Kusu". This distillery is the number one kusu maker in Okinawa, and among them, Sakura Yamakawa is without a doubt the highest and finest Kusu sold in the United States.
After blending 10% each of vintage Awamori that has been stored for 5 to 15 years, it is stored for 2 months in the special “Siamese Jar”, which gives it an overwhelmingly sweet aged aroma and a rich, full flavor and richness.
The smooth mouthfeel and deep flavor lingers for a long time without feeling the strength of 43%.
